1981-1991年在吉林大学完成本科、硕士、博士学业,1992-1995,厦门大学化学系博士后,1998年在北京理工大学评为教授,2000年博士生导师,1996-2002三次到香港科技大学合作。2007年在英国布里斯托大学合作研究。北京理工大学物理化学国防重点学科带头人;北京理工大学物理化学精品校课程负责人;霍英东优秀青年教师基金获得者(1998);教育部跨世纪人才(2002);《光谱学与光谱分析》常务编委;《光散射学报》编委;作为主席之一,承办151次全国青年科学家论坛;作为学术委员会副主席,合作承办15届全国分子光谱会议。
